What Education and Training do process servers need?

Inform yourself continuously about service of process laws and regulations to minimize liability risks.

Continue with your education and network with other legal professionals and process servers to ensure your services, skills, and trends remain competitive.


As an example, a company in Georgia offers a 12-hour pre-certification program and a five-hour continuing education program.


Once you become certified, you must take five hours of continued education annually of your three-year certification or fifteen hours total to remain active as a process server.


But,


In Maricopa County, Arizona, you must dedicate 10 hours annual continuing education.
